Jane MUKANGIRA

Associate Partner

Jane is an associate partner at the firm; She is a skilled lawyer with broad experience in litigation, drafting legal documents, transactional analysis and advising clients from business start-ups to seasoned companies.
She has an extensive experience in litigation and legal advisory at the international level, having worked with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UN-ICTR) for over 12 years.

EDUCATION & COURT ADMISSIONS

She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights (LL M) from Utrecht University, The Netherlands (2002) and a Bachelor’s Law Degree (LL B) from the National University of Rwanda.
She has also worked with the Rwandan Public Prosecution as a Prosecutor and with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as a Legal Advisor.
Jane is a licensed attorney and at the firm she introduces lawsuits on behalf of clients; represents clients in courts of law; follows up of issuance of summons by the court registry. She also drafts pleadings and ensures that pleadings are properly conducted.
