Some of the staff members on our team have been granted the authorization to provide Private Notary services by the Government of Rwanda.
Previously, only selected public individuals could notarize documents for official purposes based in centralized and decentralized public institutions could authenticate documents in Rwanda; however, selected local lawyers may now provide this service to the people of Rwanda and/or companies.
The notaries in our firm have competence of providing the following services
- Certification of the authenticity of a document
- Authentication of a signature
- Certification and authentication of any deed
- Certification of conformity
- Issuance of copies of deeds drawn up
- Certification of wills involving movable and immovable properties
- Notarization of articles of association and agreements
- Issuance of other notarial deeds provided for by the law
