Dominic is a Legal consultant and associate at RR Associates whose practice areas focus mainly on corporate and commercial law. He has experience in the legal practice of both the Rwandan and Ugandan jurisdictions having had the opportunity to study as well as work in both jurisdictions.
He has 5 years of experience in transactional legal advisory services in Rwanda.
Since joining the firm in 2018 his operational scope includes Legal Advisory & support in contract drafting and negotiations, advise in commercial and financial matters, Intellectual Property, corporate secretarial services as well as providing support in Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms such as Arbitration and mediation.
Dominic has advised on Debt Facility Issuance of project bonds and public offers, Mergers & Acquisition, long-term concession agreements and Power Purchase Agreements with the government of Rwanda as well as drafting and reviewing of contracts and internal policies in accordance with all applicable regulations.
EDUCATION
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws from Uganda Christian University (UCU) and a Postgraduate Diploma in legal practice from the Institute of legal practice and development in Rwanda. He is currently pursing LLM in Business Law at the University of Rwanda.
